By connecting thousands of assets and sensors into a single digital platform, the Metrikus solution transforms real estate data into a powerful decision-making tool, making buildings more cost effective and efficient, and healthier and more productive for the people that work within it.

One of the solutions we offer is occupancy and capacity monitoring. By displaying real-time occupancy data, our platform lets employers and landlords understand and control how their space is being used. We can show how many people are on each floor or in certain areas, and can even show which specific desks are occupied or vacant. 
Occupancy patterns that emerge over time can give real insight into usage trends across the workplace, and show how much space is really needed going forwards. We worked with a major UK bank to optimise the utilisation of their workplace, with an investment of £5,856, the bank saved £573,750.

Another solution is indoor air quality monitoring. We install sensors to monitor key factors including temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide (CO2), total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) and particulate matter (PM2.5). And more importantly our platform shows what these values should be, and how the current values could be impacting employees. Smart alerts notify employers or landlords when IAQ factors deviate from their optimal zone, so that steps can be taken to maintain a healthy indoor environment at all times.

By monitoring and improving IAQ,  employers and landlords can reduce absenteeism, improve health and wellbeing, and increase employee attraction and retention.
