It doesn’t matter if you are rebooting an older Yammer implementation or launching enterprise social and community-building capabilities for the first time, we can help! In this six-week engagement, we will guide you every step of the way with our Viva Engage Quick Start.

Orientation to Viva Engage and current state assessment

  • Introduction to Viva Engage presentation
  • Review your Microsoft 365 tenant and current Yammer configuration (if applicable)
  • Explore your business goals, priorities and governance requirements

Executive readiness

  • Introduction to Viva Engage for your executive and/or senior leaders
  • Pre-launch briefing to provide best practices for leaders

Visioning and launch strategy

  • Visioning workshop with key business stakeholders
  • Create the Viva Engage channel strategy with internal communicators
  • Launch planning

Technical configuration

  • Modernize the Yammer network (if applicable)
  • Deploy Viva Engage to Microsoft Teams
  • Assign licensing and group policy configuration
  • Enable emerging Viva Engage capabilities (e.g. Stories, Storyline, etc.)

Test and pilot

  • Pilot the solution with early adopters and champions

Training and orientation

  • Create/source training materials to help orient end-users, champions, community owners, and administrators
  • Define the launch plan

Governance

  • Explore key areas of governance including the usage policy, acceptable terms, new community provisioning, reporting, and disaster recovery

Pre-launch support

  • Weekly office hours and/or weekly stand-ups to provide ad-hoc implementation support
