Contact Synchronization for Outlook & Teams users

The Azure based service let's you synchronize corporate contacts and address information from any data source (e.g., your ERP, CRM, any address database, public folders, Shared Mailboxes etc.) that is accessible over the Internet to Exchange Online mailboxes. Based on your custom mapping, data is read from the source and then compared against user mailboxes. Changes are then written to all specified Exchange Online contact folders. 

This allows users to have all corporate contacts in Outlook as an Outlook contact item. Corporate contacts can be accessed wherever users have access to Outlook contacts (E.g., Mobile phone, Web, Desktop application and in Teams App for Windows). 

• Existing, personal contacts of users are not changed/deleted and can still be maintained by the user
• The service allows to include/exclude distribution of contacts based on categories as well as users group membership in Azure AD.
• To sync Outlook contacts to your mobile phone directory, Outlook Mobile must be configured to synchronize with your mobile phone’s address book.
• Special filtering and requirements can be considered.
• Data is processed on servers located in Amsterdam (Azure)
• Data is only stored to process comparisons between sync cycles and is deleted afterwards.
