Fishbone App

The Fishbone App is designed to facilitate cause-and-effect analysis.

The fishbone Diagram, also called an Ishikawa Diagram is an essential tool for process, quality and business managers performing root cause analysis.

The Fishbone App is a:

• standalone app that is part of the Fishbone toolbox
• component of the "Analyse" and Root Cause Analysis phase of the DMAIC App

Use the Fishbone App to:

• Perform and capture cause-and-effect brainstorming workshops (no more white boards or flipcharts).
• Automatically generate ranking based on impact and frequency to each cause and sub-cause
• Attach relevant information/supporting data to each cause or sub-cause
• Solicit feedback from subject matter experts who may be unable to attend workshops
• View Fishbone analysis and visualisations: effects, categories, causes, sub-causes, and highest ranking
• View detailed analysis using drilldowns
• Improve engagement and outputs: share the project with wider groups and stakeholders
• Users can add comments using the feedback function
