Utilities Analytics Pilot: 2-Wk Proof of Concept

An engagement to build a utility analytics strategy with this proof of concept to get real-time visibility on consumption data. Real-time insights from meter data, to prevent over-consumption, leakage or wastage of water, gas, and electricity enterprises.

This pilot implementation will include sample utility dashboard to visualize utility data and highlight key factors impacting performance.

Agenda

Week 1

• Identifying the nature of the utility data from smart metering infrastructure
• Understand business needs from data insights
• Create roadmap to build a PoC using Power BI

Week 2

• Design build, data connections and dashboards based on the findings of week 1
• Mid-term demonstration for feedback
• Final handover of dashboards with documentation

• Consumption and loss analytics
• Solution architecture for meter data analytics
• Data model to manage consumption data
• Connection with one data source - IoT enabled smart meters and sensors
• 3 - 4 dashboards, each dashboard with 5 - 6 visuals
