Google Drive To OneDrive Migration Jumpstart

Sentinel Technologies offers a structured and secure migration service for transitioning from Google Drive to Microsoft OneDrive. Our process minimizes disruptions while maintaining productivity, ensuring a smooth and efficient migration. Scope of Work Details Implementation Phase 1: Discovery & Proof of Concept (POC) • Migrate up to five (5) Google Drives to Microsoft OneDrive per user. • Configure security access policies using Azure Active Directory Security Groups (membership identified by the customer). • Confirm successful migration of Google Drive content for the identified users. • Validate user access to newly migrated data within SharePoint Online. Phase 2: Full-Scale Migration • Migrate shared data for up to two (2) Google Drive accounts to the designated SharePoint document library. • Once the POC is successfully validated, Sentinel Engineers will migrate additional users based on the agreed scope. Discover and Design • Identify up to five (5) users’ Google Drives for initial migration testing. SCOPE OF WORK DETAILS Key Migration Considerations: • Determine the appropriate SharePoint document library for shared data storage. • Assess whether the SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) can handle the migration. If not, ShareGate will be utilized. • Only items within "My Drive" will be migrated. Files in "Shared with Me" will not be transferred. • Only items within "My Drive" will be migrated.
