Bring your projects & Microsoft Teams together Create Project,connect it to existing/new channel

365Projects helps you extend Microsoft Teams functionality by creating projects and linking them to a new or existing Microsoft Teams Channel. This allows your project to use existing:

• Teams calendar as project calendar.

• Channel files

• New/existing Planner plan to track your project tasks

In addition to utilize existing Microsoft Teams building blocks, 365Projects allows you to track project basic information, status, milestones, and risks.

365Projects is equipped with a basic report generation functionality based on word template generation, admin can upload standard templates that can be shared between different projects to generate Microsoft word-based reports.

Each Microsoft Teams channel can be linked to one or more projects, you can use the tab configuration settings to show subset of project information within the channel:

• Overview.

• Project Status.

• Project Risks.

• Project Milestones.

• Project Reports.

You can access 365Projects app either as a tab within Microsoft Teams or using standalone responsive web interface. If you decided to use this app as standalone web application, it would retrieve the associated Microsoft Teams information and display it to reduce context switching.

365Projects web experience allows you to see project dashboard using which you can search project using project name, budget or overall status.

365Projects offers in-app notification and allows you to store your project metadata in the location of your choice which enables you to adhere to any compliance requirements you might have.

You can customize your application logo and add your branding. 365Projects is a multi-tenant application but can be configured for your own Tenant if you decided to deploy it as an enterprise solution giving you full control over what can access your Microsoft Teams files, calendar and planner tasks.

For the first time, user need to do a Tenant Registration on behalf of all the tenant users before using the application, the app will detect whether if your tenant configuration exists or not and guide the user through the tenant registration process.

To enable full functionality such as:

• Edit planner tasks

• Create Teams/Channels

• Add/remove users

Admin consent is required to grant the app the required permission, the app can still work in least privilege scenario but to edit planner tasks, user need to use Planner interface instead of in-app experience.
