- This offer comprises an initial 1-2 week consultation and high level assessment of the Connections environment and specific migration requirements
- During an initial meeting we will discuss the planned scope and requirements for the migration. We will also provide a script to extract key metrics and sizing from the Connections environment
- Based on the information gathered from Connections and the planned Microsoft 365 deployment, we will provide a cost and and detailed implementation plan for migration
- This initial consultation and sizing will be free of charge
- Following on from the consultation a SaaS solution can be provided to seamlessly execute the migration

The assessment and information gathered from the consultation allow us to provide an implementation plan, timeline and cost estimate for the migration to Microsoft 365. The migration is delivered using our own bespoke SaaS solution and methodology, through the approved Connections and Microsoft 365 APIs.

Following on from this initial offer T-Systems would offer to deliver either a proof of concept or the full migration of Connections data to Microsoft 365 using our SaaS solution.

Our fully customisable, automated solution migrates all Connections data types, digital assets, user permissions and history to Microsoft 365. The process is flexible and can be adapted to specific customer requirements. The initial analysis exercise will highlight areas for improvement and sample test migrations will ensure that the final migration will meet customer expectations. With experience gained in many previous Connections to Microsoft 365 migrations we can ensure that all Connections data types, users and metadata are matched to the equivalent types in Microsoft 365. Customisation is possible throughout the process, allowing us to suggest alternative mappings and handle custom data types and metadata. Full audit logs are available to show the history of each content item during migration.

All activity is logged and auditable. Processes can be run multiple times and rolled back to allow for fine tuning of the migration and testing of different mapping scenarios. The final migration process can be executed with no impact to end users of source or target platform, and no loss of data.

The T-Systems Content Architect software, developed in coordination with Microsoft, can migrate any volume of data from MB to multiple PB. The solution is robust, fully scalable and is the most flexible, secure and cost effective way to ensure that the quality and integrity of your valuable collaboration content is preserved. The process minimises the in-built throttling of both platforms to ensure maximum performance and reduce the migration duration. Cloud and on-premises deployments are supported.
