3-Day On-Premise Workshop. GOAL: Reduce Stockouts, Avoid Overstocks, Avoid Physical & Systematic Inventory Discrepancies, Optimize Inventory Levels, and Lower Costs.
Post Implementation with a minimum of 6 months of inventory sales history and operation.
Improving inventory management is a strategic process. Some changes will produce immediate results. However, there are changes that produce results over a period-of-time. In certain circumstances, the process could be described as being similar to a Pendulum as you fine-tune results. If you follow our recommendations, you will see improvements. If you choose on-going support and guidance during the months following the Workshop, we can be available at an additional charge.
STAGE 1: ASSESS
Assessments include a review of inventory paint-points; utilization of Item Replenishment and Planning Configurations; utilization of Purchasing and Demand Forecasting tools; operational systematic procedures; operational physical inventory processing; exceptions; stockout and overstock patterns; financial impacts, and special considerations. During this stage, a tour of your facility and operations will enhance developing solutions.
STAGE 2: DEFINE & RECOMMEND
Prioritize areas of improvement. Discuss recommendations and optional solution strategies. Areas of improvement may include procedural changes, physical operational changes, system configuration changes, data cleanup, utilization of unused systematic tools, etc. This stage will be customized to the specific needs of the client
STAGE 3: PLAN
Develop a specific plan of action for each prioritized recommended change.
STAGE 4: IMPLEMENT
Implement the plan. Time permitting, assisting the client to begin making recommended changes.
