Aptean Production Planning for Food and Beverage
Enhance your production planning process with balanced supply and demand.
Surplus inventory—or worse, wasted resources—can be a major concern for make-to-order food manufacturers using pre-defined batch sizes in their production process. Simply put: you need strong planning tools to fulfill production orders with the right quantities while also staying on schedule.
Balance Your Supply And Demand
Production Planning for Aptean Food and Beverage ERP provides your production planners with the information they need to balance supply and demand for make-to-order items. All existing sales order lines are presented alongside available inventory, with factors such as item reservations and planned production also taken into account. When existing availability does not meet demand, a production order can be easily generated to satisfy any requirements. Intuitive filter options make it easy to quickly identify which items require production activity. Once an item’s supply and demand are balanced within the application, changes to related sales or production orders inform users if they’re upsetting the balance, helping prevent errant changes that disrupt a pristine production plan.
