User Management Pack 365 is a powerful software application that simplifies user lifecycle & identity management across Skype for Business Server (On-premises), Skype for Business Phone System (Cloud) And Teams deployments. UMP can be deployed in different topologies:

  • On premises- Pure on-premises deployment, no hybrid relationships with online
  • Hybrid - Some users moved to the cloud; some stay on premises
  • Service Provider Private Cloud – The SfB Server will be located at the SP Data center, the SP handling control of user management over to its customer’s IT staff
  • Online - All users in Skype for Business Online or Teams

UMP use special interfaces to connect with the user forest AD , Azure AD and Skype for Business (Server or On-Line)
