DIGIT - Urban Governance Platform

DIGIT is India’s largest microservices based open source platform for Urban Governance. It provides API based access to government functions enabling government to provide facilities via integration with relevant service players. Through DIGIT the following solutions have been made available to Citizens and Government Employees like Property Tax, Trade License, Grievance Redressal, Building Plan Approval, Water and Sewerage Management, Fire NOC. There are about 5000 ULB across India which needs system like DIGIT to transform Citizens and Governance through latest technology, automation, stable and transparent system to serve the country with 1.5 billion population. The eGovernments Foundation’s core purpose is to foster an ecosystem that supports the collaborative and public development of free and open source software platform, our co-creation partners and system integrators to take advantage of the open source platform with ready-to-use features and implement the DIGIT across multiple ULBs.
