Threat Protection Workshop

The Threat Protection Engagement is designed to create customer intent for adopting advanced Microsoft Security products, including but not limited to Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel. This engagement is delivered by specialized Microsoft partners (Mobile Mentor) in a customer’s production environment by discovering real security threats and vulnerabilities.

What to Expect: During this engagement, we’ll partner with you to strengthen your organization’s approach to cybersecurity. We’ll help you better understand how to prioritize and mitigate potential attacks, with: • Analysis of cybersecurity threats that are found targeting your organization. • Actionable recommendations to help immediately mitigate the identified threats and discovered vulnerabilities. • Visibility into vulnerabilities to your Microsoft 365 cloud and on-premises environments to better understand, prioritize and address vulnerabilities and misconfigurations across your organization. • Long-term recommendations from Microsoft experts about your security strategy, with key initiatives and tactical next steps. • Modular approach, allowing you to select three (3) out of four (4) available modules aligned to your needs and requirements.

Workshop Activities Include:

1. Identify customer’s key security objectives & priorities.
2. Conduct discovery of threats and vulnerabilities in customer’s production environment.
3. Use customer’s existing licenses or product trials of the engagement products to perform discovery and exploration of threats and vulnerabilities in customer's production environment.
4. Threat Protection Engagement Mandatory Modules:

• Microsoft Defender Portal - (Microsoft Defender XDR)
• Cloud Identity Protection - (Entra ID Protection, Entra Conditional Access)

5. Selectable Modules where at least three (3) must be completed:

• Unified SecOps Platform - (Microsoft Sentinel)
• Email Protection - (Microsoft Defender for Office 365)
• Endpoint and Cloud Apps Protection - (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps)
• Microsoft Copilot for Security Demonstration

6. Provide recommendations and next steps for proposed Microsoft solution
