Mapped Independent Data Layer
作者 Mapped
Automate normalization of building data to BRICK schema
Mapped is the independent data layer for commercial real estate. By automating the discovery, extraction, and normalization of data from building systems, sensors, devices, and vendor APIs, Mapped simplifies the integration process down to a single standardized API. Mapped breaks enterprise data silos to empower building owners, facility operators, and solution providers to rapidly unlock the value of data and drive transformative business outcomes – allowing them to focus on innovation rather than integration.
Capable of quickly discovering all devices on a network, and extracting data from building systems, sensors, and vendor APIs, Mapped normalizes raw data to BRICK data schema. Mapped API empowers data science teams, integration engineers, and software developers to quickly derive business intelligence, develop predictive analytics, or power operational applications with just a few clicks. Mapped helps you fast-track your Digital Twin efforts, create a central data warehouse of all your assets, power a real-time dashboard, rapidly build an ESG application, or enhance spatial context information; among other use cases. Mapped supports industry-leading on-premise protocols, integrates with leading IoT sensors with cloud APIs, and can extract data from many other enterprise data sources.

How does it work?
Mapped offers a fully automated solution for discovering, extracting, and normalizing data from traditional building systems or their respective vendor APIs. Our Universal Gateway (UG) hardware or containerized software is deployed on your network. UG speaks native protocols (BACnet, Crestron, KNX, Lutron, Modbus, Lon ...and more) to perform data discovery and extraction in real time. Once ingested, the data is then processed on the cloud automatically.
Enterprise features
Mapped offers enterprise admin features with end-to-end encryption and fine-grain control over data-sharing capability across internal teams and external vendors.
A flexible, self-service subscription model
Mapped offers flexible subscription plans to discover, extract, and normalize data from buildings, systems, devices, sensors, and cloud applications. Subscription fees also cover the retention of normalized data on the Mapped cloud. Normalized data is consumed through the Mapped API.
