The App provides a Single Sign On (SSO) with a LTI server to launch course(s)
The App provides a Single Sign On (SSO) with a LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) server to launch course(s).
The course creator needs to feed in following keys while configuring the application tab:
Launch URL
Consumer Key
Secret Key
The course creator will need to contact the respective LMS Admin to acquire the LTI parameters. The LMS, dispatching the course, can dispatch single course or multiple courses with single set of parameters (launch url, consumer key, and secret key) In case of single course parameters , upon app configuration, the course will be launched whereas in case of multiple courses parameters, the course thumbnails will be shown as allowed by the course dispatching LMS.
All other users can launch the course from within Microsoft Teams.
The app is an LTI Tool Consumer and supports Basic LTI (BLTI). Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) is a standards-based specification to allow remote tools and content to be integrated into a Learning Management System (LMS).
Flipick has developed an LTI 1.1 compliant App for Microsoft Teams which allows a SSO(Single Sign On) with Learning Management Systems.Any LMS which is LTI compliant can now be integrated with Microsoft Teams and the content made available to users based on their team and channel.
