The mission

In October 2021, Changing Social jumped at the opportunity to sponsor the largest Microsoft cloud technology conference held in the UK, the South Coast Summit.

With the event being attended by over 2,500 people, a common problem many organisations face with in-person events of this size is keeping track of who you meet, what service they’re interested in and gaining their contact details.

We quickly realised the old paper and pen method simply wouldn’t cut it with an event of this magnitude, so that got us thinking…can we build an app and automation for this?

This is where the Power Platform came in.
