The Data Viewer enables users to build data views and charts on SharePoint and External Content.

Business users of Microsoft SharePoint or Microsoft Teams will be able to build data views and charts on SharePoint list content, Azure SQL Database tables and views, Excel workbooks, OData services, Connected Web Parts and BCS External Content Types.

Data views provide your data within a SharePoint list type view that contains features such as column grouping, conditional formatting, aggregate functions and data formatting. If you prefer, data can be displayed in the format of a chart such as a Pie, Bar, Column, Line or Surface area chart.

Without code, users can style the data view and chart views for display within a SharePoint page or Microsoft Teams tab.
