The Alloy Self-Service Assistant bot brings the self-service capabilities of the Alloy IT Service Management platform to Microsoft Teams.

*What Alloy Self-Service Assistant can do*

Alloy Self-Service Assistant is a bot app that helps you obtain support from your Alloy Navigator service desk without having to leave Teams. You can:

* Create new tickets, whether from scratch or from Teams messages,

* View the tickets you've already created to check their status or add comments,

* Search the knowledge base to quickly find articles that answer your questions,

* Check whether you have requests pending your approval and take action on the go.

*How to use Alloy Self-Service Assistant*

To communicate with the bot, send it commands in a private chat or invoke Alloy Self-Service Assistant from the messaging extension menu when chatting with somebody else. *Requirements*

To use Alloy Self-Service Assistant, your company must have Alloy Navigator (Enterprise or Express) software installed, and you must have an active Alloy Navigator account. If you’re all set up, the bot will automatically sign you in after you install it. *Before you can get started*
