Display alerts prominently across your SharePoint sites in a web part or above the navigation.

The Alerts web part allows content authors to create messages to be displayed on specific pages or injected prominently above the navigation across entire sites. Alerts can be created with a range of options, such as type, icon, scheduling date, and audience targeting.

Alerts offers you the following features:

  • Easy to manage - Alerts can be created centrally or by different groups of users in the organisation. The creation process is intuitive and easy to follow from within your SharePoint intranet.
  • Plan ahead - Use the date scheduling functionality to make sure your alerts and messages are only shown during the relevant time period.
  • Get their attention - Make sure your message is heard by displaying it prominently at the top of all the SharePoint pages on your intranet, or be more selective and only display on certain pages.
  • Keep the flow - Once your readers have seen and understood the message, allow them to dismiss it so that they can carry on with their working day.
  • Viva Connections ready - Like all Accelerator apps, Alerts is compatible with Viva Connections. Additionally the Alerts app includes a dashboard card to display to your front line workers.
  • Responsive - The Alerts app is optimally designed for any and all devices, where your users are accessing SharePoint on desktop browsers or mobiles.
