What do you like best about the product?While other platforms help in crosschecking, Pitchbook has been consistently providing the most detailed information, down to the littlest connections!What do you dislike about the product?At times, the information is outdated, even on big companies.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Pitchbook is very handy when it comes to company profiling of the private companies, significantly better than the information that can be pulled from Google. It even covers almost all of the section needed when building company profiles. Very efficient, intuitive.
Pitchbook a must have for Private Equity investors
What do you like best about the product?The research and benchmarking information are my favorite parts about pitchbook. Great at some things, poor at others
What do you like best about the product?funding data is second to none, which is the only reason to have thisWhat do you dislike about the product?email data is terrible, 20-30% of companies don't have emails listed and of the ones that do, 20-25% bounce. What do you like best about the product?Very useful to gain insights about covered markets and aggregated data on transactions, finding contact details, and gaining further information during deal origination.What do you dislike about the product?Sometimes the platform seems to focused on the VC-level landscapes and insights, instead of larger transactions.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Finding information about targets and buyers during deal origination. Pitch book is perfect if you are tracking startup funding

Excellent customer service and great data

A great deal of information, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?Almost all companies can be found. Highly thoughtful and detailed filters allows for great searching capability - this is far better than other tools I've used. Easy export and love the ability to customize the columns. Comparison and similar company suggestions are helpful. The info pop ups via hovering are useful and quick. Support/customer service is fast and reliable, easy to access.What do you dislike about the product?If there are a great deal of companies in the results, the loading time when adjusting the filters/tags can cause long lag times/spinning wheels when reloading the results. Smaller, private companies don't have as robust of information.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Figuring out which companies are in a certain industry or vertical. Understanding valuation.
Probably the most detailed financial software out there in the market
What do you like best about the product?I work with companies that are pretty well known, with pitchbook it gets easier to know their business model, if acquired or not, contact people such as founder's or directors, parent company and recent news. High Level Company Insight!
What do you like best about the product?PitchBook is an essential tool in providing company insight in particular private companies. Their funding/deal info is top-tier and is sought after by our stakeholders. In addition, their screening tool is versatile and can generate lists that are useful in getting a top view of a specific industry and/or geographic location. Furthermore, their industry verticals is helpful in filtering for a specific industry and companies. Finally, their customer service is A+ - always available and provides relevant answers to complicated requests.What do you dislike about the product?The only downside is the download limit. Sometimes a requests requires downloading a substantial lists, and getting the limit can be problematic.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?The main problem that PitchBook is solving for us is the ability to look at company information, especially private companies. This allows us to target potential clients and partners. It also helps us analyze trends in specific industries and M&A transactions.
