The application uses AI-based data extraction to capture key invoice details such as vendor name, purchase order (PO) number, amounts, and line items directly from email attachments. This eliminates the need for manual entry, significantly reduces errors, and accelerates the overall process.
Once extracted, the app intelligently matches invoice information with corresponding purchase orders in the ERP system. Any discrepancies in quantities, rates, or totals are flagged immediately, ensuring that finance teams can resolve issues before delays or incorrect payments occur.
To simplify collaboration, AI Invoice OCR provides a unified interface where users can review mismatches, validate matches, or escalate issues. A simplified workflow powered by Power Automate routes invoices to the right approvers, while automated email notifications keep stakeholders updated at every step.
