Project Buddy provides simple integration between your inbox and your Project Management System. View work items inline with your email and easily add comments to existing work items. The following features exist:
- Link multiple Instances of VSTS
- Automatic routing of email messages to specific projects based on the email participants
- Create new work items
- Modify the title / description of existing work items
- Add comments to existing work items
- Search for work items
- Use views from the Project Management System to filter work items
- Launch directly to a work item in a separate browser window
- Works with Outlook on your desktop as well as Outlook Web Access
The following Project Management Systems are currently supported:
- Asana
- Basecamp
- Microsoft Planner
- Trello
- Visual Studio Team Services
New functionality is being added all the time, as well as new Project Management Systems. A paid subscription is required to allow creating and updating existing work items. Read only access is available without a subscription.

- Can send data over the Internet
- This app can read or modify the contents of any item in your mailbox, and create new items. It can access personal information -- such as the body, subject, sender, recipients, or attachments -- in any message or calendar item. It may send this data to a third-party service.
