Taxxon Enhacement Pack for Inflation Adjustment

Our Axxon Inflation Enhacement Adjustment Pack provides a comprehensive solution for General Ledger Inflation Adjustment and Fixed Assets Inflation Adjustment processes. Originally designed for Argentina’s tax purposes.

The General Ledger Inflation Adjustment solution uses the Indirect method to adjust each ledger account’s balance. It applies a conversion rate based on a price index to non-monetary ledger balances. The inflation result is then posted as a ledger entry. Additionally, it provides an inflation adjustment report on monetary accounts for the purpose of control.

The Fixed Assets Inflation Adjustment solution is tailored for the straight-line depreciation method. It uses a new Fixed Asset Proposal to calculate the inflation adjustments for each asset’s acquisitions, accumulated depreciations, and depreciations. The inflation adjustment will be associated with each individual fixed asset to provide Fixed Asset Reporting with historical or adjusted values.

In both processes, the inflation adjustment amount will be recorded in a different Posting Layer. This allows obtaining financial reports with both historical data and inflation-adjusted data.
