The functionality allows bidirectional communication with the Italian Exchange System (SdI - Sistema di Interscambio) to send and receive electronic invoices via accredited intermediaries, like Able Tech; without the complexities of managing the direct integration. Leveraging on accredited intermediaries, there is no need to obtain SDICoop service channel accreditation or to deploy and maintain a proxy server. Even RCS setup is superflous.

"Cegeka Italian Electronic Invoicing" has been designed to allow effective and efficient transmission and receipt of electronic invoices. In particular, this app allows to:

- fully manage the bidirectional communication with the SdI, via the intermediaries, directly in the ERP for both account receivables and payables;
- generate and send multiple documents, syncronously or asynchronously, from dedicated dashboards;
- monitor the status and notifications from SDI via the intermediaries;
- create automatic digital archiving and filing via the intermediaries;
- handle transmission errors and regenerate the XML files for re-submissions;
- receive invoices or credit notes from vendors in XML format;
- create a preview of the vendor invoice;
- view/download the XML file of the electronic invoice.

Digitalization brings advantages in terms of saving time, physical space and operational costs:

- elimination of routines like document printing or sending attachments via e-mail;
- reduction of the time spent to understand if the invoice has actually arrived/taken in charge, etc.
- elimination of operational costs for paper filing, through accredited intermediaries;
- reduction of the time spent to post vendor invoice by means of algorithms for reading and interpreting data like number, invoice date, vendor account, total amount, etc;
- limitation of typos.
