Poor for a keynote / Great for the classroom
Too many issues and peculiarities to have tech guys deal with this app in a keynote setting. Tech has to download the app which isn't always easy on enterprise systems, And PE is seen as a separate screen from PowerPoint which requires some work when you have multiple monitors for audience and presenter. But, if you're in a consistent place like a classroom, it's great.
Interactive and fun.
What do you like best about the product?As an educator, I use Poll Everywhere almost every week in order to make classes more interactive and fun. It also allows students to receive quick feedback, and lets me gauge which areas they have grasped well and which areas require more attention.What do you dislike about the product?As a user of the free version, certain features are limited which affects larger classes.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?The marketing and admissions team use Poll Everywhere with educational agents during training and other informative sessions. As a college lecturer, Poll Everywhere creates more engagement in classes and provides real-time feedback.
Be interactive, Fun n Learn
What do you like best about the product?Beautifully designed interface, lots of option to make a choice to make class or meeting lively, fun and enjoyable.What do you dislike about the product?Sometimes, integration with powerpint craches- leaving instructor in a vulnerable position. Inclusition of Audio, Video files could habe been designed simply for ease.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Easy way to start get right or wrong answers, for survey, for ice breaking, brain storming...what not.
Commendable polling software
What do you like best about the product?We have been integrating it with zoom as most of our training, and other organizational meeting takes place there only. Hence, Poll everywhere helps us in getting the answers from audience and look into that what the majority is thinking.What do you dislike about the product?The only thing that bothers me is that actuating the survey for the crowd isn't instinctive, and it lags behind the simplicity of launching the poll.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?In large gatherings it's not possible to listen to everyone or read the audience, so with the help of poll everywhere, we can quickly look into the possible thinking of the audience

does not work
Hi there, I've added poll everywhere to my O365 and I see the button for new emails but it does not actually work. I get an error about my admin. Why allow me to install something I can't use? Also note that instead of needing to pick specific times, should consider allowing to select time exclusions. For ex. I might want to poll an entire day except 1 or 2 time slivers. Right now needing to select a 1 hour slot for 1 day can produce up to 16 options for a single day. That's just silly!
Great custom polls for the classroom!
What do you like best about the product?I like that I am able to create my own polls, group them together, and get immediate feedback.What do you dislike about the product?I don't like that I can't control the responses for the "free-write" ones.Recommendations to others considering the product:Get in and try it with a friend or by yourself first, so you can see how the different poll formats work and how the responses come in. Once students learn how to join a Poll Everywhere, the rest of your polls will go seamlessly.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?I am able to give quick formative assessments for me to know if my students have achieved the day's goal.

What do you like best about the product?Poll Everywhere is an online service that allows teachers to ask their students a question. The students answer the question using their mobile phones, Twitter, or web browsers. Both the question and the students' responses are displayed live in Keynote, PowerPoint, and/or on the web.What do you dislike about the product?Each poll must be reset individually; somewhat outdated design; many features teachers would find useful require a paid plan.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Poll Everywhere connects students' current uses of technology with instructors' needs for in-class assessment and feedback. When students know they are responsible for the material immediately or must participate actively in class, learning and retention increase.
Easy way to engage employees
What do you like best about the product?The system is very interactive to use and comes up with a very easy UI to integrate questions we want to have employees answer. The polls and surveys can easily be created.What do you dislike about the product?It would be nice to have standardized questions already set up that outline a set of criteria that employees can choose from rather than having to customize every pollWhat problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?How to engage employees and receive real time feedback from them to keep them engaged in our meetings. It enables us to better understand without having to receive verbal feedback.

What do you like best about the product?I like the ease of use and set up for poll everywhere.
I appreciate how quickly you can edit questions on the fly.
I use this with PowerPoint and keynote integration.What do you dislike about the product?I dislike how customizing can create challenges with onscreen presenting of polls.
I think the editing could be a little more intuitive.
Maybe they could add more animation to display final poll results.What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Poll everywhere is one tool that has totally removed the need for a physical Audience Response System with dedicated clickers. By being able to track participants by name it helps ensure that people who are responding are the ones who should be.
