a few minor bugs but still an excellent resource

I wasn't able to install the PhET app via the "Get it now" button in the Microsoft Store: it said I needed a newer version of MS Office, even though the version I’m using is listed as compatible. Fortunately, I am still able to use PhET simulations in my PowerPoint slides, with the following procedure. In PowerPoint, select the “Insert” tab, then click the drop-down arrow next “Add-ins” (if using Office 365) or “My Apps” (if using Office 2013). Select “Get Add-ins” (in Office 356) or “See All” and “Find more apps at the Office Store” (in Office 2013). Search for PhET and add it to the slide. Resize the app to fill the slide, if desired, then select the simulation you want to use. Note: In MS Office 2013, the simulations don’t seem to work when presenting a slide show. They work in edit mode, but not during a slide show: if you try to click anything, the presentation will just progress to the next slide. In Office 365, everything works perfectly.

Unsure

Does this App run in Slide Show mode? Or only in Normal mode? Are there instructions for using it?

I could not download the app as I am using Powerpoint 2010 which works fine but the app requires Powerpoint 2013. I wish that I could download the app for use in a course that I will be teaching in the Fall 2018 at an adult university.
