It does exactly what it says it does. Easy to configure and customise. Powerful and vital tool that meets a very real business need.

This was working great years, now it no longer removes the marked junk email to the trash. Message comes up saying it was marked already and will be moved to trash once outlook syncs next, but never does. I have removed the ad in and repaired my Outlook installed several times. It just doesn’t work anymore.

A good tool/add-in to report messages to Microsoft that may be Phishing or SPAM.

This add-in forwards emails to Microsoft for reporting (not junk, junk, phishing). Then moves them to the inbox/ or the junk folder. This same task can be accomplished much with a quick step which moves to the required folder after forwarding email as attachment (automatic send after 1 minute) to: • For junk messages: junk@office365.microsoft.com • For phishing scam messages: phish@office365.microsoft.com • For a legitimate email falsely flagged as spam, address it to not_junk@office365.microsoft.com It does not add the email senders to personal safe or blocked senders list so does not replace the junk email buttons that already exist in the outlook app. So what I have done is to customise my ribbon to add buttons for block sender / and never block sender/domain/mailing list. I press this button first before then reporting message. To make this add in useful MS should consider: Add the functionality for adding senders to safe / blocked lists And for processing multiple emails at once Replacing the junk buttons in Outlook app once the above is completed to avoid confusion/duplication For everyone else: -recommend setting up quick steps and not bothering with this addon. -customise ribbon to add buttons for block sender / and never block sender/domain/mailing list. Press these first before then reporting message.

For years I used a Microsoft Outlook add-in called ‘Junk Reporting Add-in for Office 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016’, but this is no longer available and the addresses it reports to (@messaging.microsoft.com) no longer work. Of course, Microsoft could have set up forwarding to the new addresses, or even let users know about this, but instead just pulled the plug! This new add-in is supposed to replace it, but it's next to useless since only one message can be reported at a time and, even then, it’s slow and clumsy process: Each time you have to click on the icon, select the Junk option from the drop-down and wait several seconds for the process to complete. You have to repeat this for every message. Reporting 12 junk emails took 2 minutes and 12 seconds – that’s 11 seconds per message! Save yourself the bother - use Outlook PWA instead. It's not as easy as the old add-in, but it's way quicker than this dreadful app.

Can't report phishing emails inside Outlook with a 365 account but I can do it from outlook.com. The addon pops up a new window with a greyed out Report button and won't continue.

MS seem to have gone round in circles with this - certainly attempting to install it will send you round in circles, and probably fail with an unhelpful "error The app couldn't be downloaded."

Not only does Office 365 platform do not do a proper job in protecting people from getting spoofed with Phishing attempts - even for an organization that paying for PREMIUM services and enabled protective measurement. This product that HELPS Microsoft to detect phishing attempts is only provided if the user's consent details will be share with 3rd parties. This is simply outrageous.
