Jira Cloud for Excel

This is a great addin which saves me a lot of time. It is simple to use and offers the flexibility of running a saved Jira filter into Excel or typing up the JQL within the addin - which is what I use most often. I have one pain point though. When I copy a workbook with a JQL extract to a new name, the JQL is still linked to the original workbook. Now any changes to the JQL in the new workbook impact the original workbook and vice versa. It is annoying to remember this and often times I have refreshed my workbook with the wrong filter. It would be nice if you can address this flaw.

Problem Conecction in Excel 2019

I am comparing it with the Azure DevOps plugin for Excel. I found the user experience to be too poor. If I have multiple Jira projects, I am not clear how I may connect to one of them and get data. Not sure if it allows me to update data back. Where is a nice documentation for this?

The supplement just doesn't work right. Only supports the use of simpler queries that return few lines. If I need to create a more elaborate JQL to extract reports with many lines, the add-in freezes or keeps loading forever, it doesn't bring all the information, it has very limited scheduling options and if I duplicate a spreadsheet to add new data, both the original and the copy, update the same data no matter what I do to unlink. It seems that the creators were not interested in updating and correcting the problems. The Google Sheets extension is infinitely better and brings me large reports in a few seconds, with the same queries. It would be great if the developers paid a little more attention to the add-in for MS Office so that users can enjoy the same experiences as Google users.

The plugin opens a large blade in Excel, every time a spreadsheet is opened. The blade can be dismissed, but it opens EVERY SINGLE TIME. It is annoying.

The AddIn seems to be unable to distinguish different workbooks, which means I get the data from one workbook-query loaded into another workbook where I also use the AddIn. The first workbook was copied from the second.

The last time this was updated was in 2019. Since then, no fixes, improvements or features have been added. Hugely disappointing for something quite valuable.

It works very nice and gets the job done, but when you work in a sheet and change sheets, then you cannot undo the changes, which is really annoying.
