Do not buy it. I bought a premium plan, and it was so bad. It is no good compared to other AI tools. I tried it for a day and instantly wanted a refund. However, they refused to give me a refund as it is not in their policy. What kind of policy is that? Customer satisfaction is not a priority for them. Do not buy it. Use other AI tools, which are free and more accurate, and helpful.

What I like about Writefull is how easy it integrates into MS Word and how subtle the suggested corrections sometimes are. Much better than anything Word offers. A must!

Good tool, but it needs more development. My main issue is that it deletes footnotes!! Why? Footnotes are a regular feature of academic writing. It's annoying to have to reject those footnote changes. Sometimes the word order is garbled and will consistently offers the wrong word (e.g. draft vs draught). I agree with the reviewer who suggested it would be great if you could unselect a recommended change and just apply the ones that you feel are appropriate. Overall, it's helpful and I will continue to use it, but do not assume that the recommendations are always correct (e.g. assessment and evaluation are not synonyms). It can improve your work, but is not a substitute for a good copy-editor.

I have purchased the Writefull premium plan and I am not satisfeid with the product. The idea is great, but still it needs a lot of improvement. For example: • the Paraphraser would be a really useful tool. However, it is almost useless. The main problem is that the sentence rearrangement produces sentences that do not bring the original meaning (they make no sense or have a completely different meaning); • the language search tool is great on paper, but the number of output is quite low; maybe it needs to be “fed” with more material; • it would be great if widgets could be opened directly in the Writefull panel and not in a separate window (at present, they cover the main document). Other online free tools at the moment do a better job, however I guess this toll will have a great potential one day.

Writeful is an easy and convenient tool to check articles before submission.

I really like it so far! I’ve been in the US for close to half of my life, so I’ve gotten fairly comfortable and competent with English, but Writefull complements me by having my back in those moments when I slip, like misplacing or missing articles. I also really like that suggestions / alternatives are shown as percentages, as sometimes I find it more appropriate to use my original phrasing rather than the suggested one, but am often unsure if I am making the ‘right’ choice. I find that in those cases, Writefull suggestions are around 85%, which gives me a bit more confidence about my choice as opposed to 98% suggestions, which apply to the cases when I’m obviously wrong. And it doesn’t hurt that Writefull has MUCH, MUCH LOWER FALSE POSITIVE RATES THAN MS WORD GRAMMER CHECKER even for silly little things. I also find the toggle switches useful when I am brainstorming. I haven’t had a chance to use the title generator yet and I think the paraphrasing feature could be better. But I’m sure it’ll continue to evolve as the user base grows. I haven’t used it enough to notice areas for improvement. Overall, I fully expect Writefull to be an invaluable tool in writing my dissertation, especially for catching silly little mistakes when proofreading! Thank you for developing such a nifty tool!

As an english major students, i think writeful is really useful to correct my grammar. It really help me a lot, but it would be better if i can use it in my iPad😂

Perfect tool that helped me to create my Master thesis. As english is not my mature language, Writefull was here to correct, paraphrase the sentence. Recommending. Customer service support was also brilliant, helpful and reacted fast.

I have been using it for reports and academic papers. Great proofreader, spell and grammar checker. and it is free!
