Mersive Hybrid Meetings is a Microsoft Teams plugin desktop application designed to streamline hybrid collaboration in spaces equipped with the Mersive Pro solution, part of the Mersive Collaboration Suite. Mersive Hybrid Meetings offers a software-first alternative to complex hardware-based systems that require dedicated conferencing infrastructure and integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Teams desktop application within the Microsoft 365 environment. It integrates seamlessly into existing IT ecosystems (which includes in-room peripherals), and is built on enterprise-grade security standards—including SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 compliance.
During an active Microsoft Teams meeting on a Microsoft Teams Enterprise / Desktop application, in-room users can launch the Mersive Hybrid Meetings application to effortlessly connect to a Mersive-enabled display and wirelessly share content in real time. By running the Mersive Hybrid Meetings application, this reduces the number of steps in-room users must take in order to display content to in-person participants and remote participants at the same time. Also, when in-room users launch the Hybrid Meetings app during a Teams call, they are wirelessly connected to the in-room peripherals (camera, microphones) through their Teams meeting to simplify conferencing setup, allowing remote users to see all in-room participants. This ensures everyone, whether in-room or remote, views the same material simultaneously, enhancing engagement, improving meeting efficiency, and eliminating the friction of traditional screen-sharing methods.

Sign Up / Get Started:
1. Sign Up / Get Started with Mersive Hybrid Meetings
Visit the Mersive Contact Page to request a demo or purchase a Gen 4 Pod.
Order the Mersive Pro solution to leverage Hybrid Meetings.
Upon delivery, install the Pod and your accompanying in-room camera and microphone. The installation and Pod connection of these peripherals is optional.
Mount or place the Gen 4 Pod in your conference room.
2. Join or Start a Microsoft Teams Meeting on your desktop
3. Install the Mersive Hybrid Meetings Plugin in Microsoft Teams:
On Microsoft Teams Desktop (Enterprise version):
Open the Microsoft Teams Desktop App.
In the menu bar, click on Apps (or the “Apps” store icon).
Search for “Mersive preprod”.
Click the app and hit “Add” or “Open” to install it.
4. Use the Plugin During a Microsoft Teams Meeting
5. Connect to the Mersive Gen 4 Pod Using the Screen Key
When the plugin opens, it will prompt you to enter a Screen Key.
Look at the Mersive-enabled display (connected to a Gen 4 pod) in the room.
The six-digit Screen Key will be displayed on screen (e.g., XJ8232).
Enter the Screen Key in the Teams plugin window and click Connect.
Once connected, the plugin establishes wireless content sharing to the display.
In-room peripherals (camera, mic, speakers) are linked with the Teams call, so remote participants see and hear everyone clearly.
