Very easy to configure and manage Azure backup. Working excellent for small size of data backup
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now nothing specific to dislike in Azure backup as we are using for small scale infra
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously running multiple onprem backup for 1-2TB data size and need to manage backup hardware for all these locations. By deploying Azure backup, eliminated all onprem backup infra and saved significant capex/opex cost
Most of our customers have migrated their services from on-prem to Azure. They are using different services like virtual machines, Azure file share, Blob storage, database, etc. Different to other backup products or solutions, Azure Backup is the best and most seamless backup solutions for broader Azure ecosystem. It is integrated to all the Azure services. When deploying it, you can find the backup options in the page of every Azure resources.
It can also backup anything outside of Azure. With Azure Backup, you can management backup in a single portal for all services that your customers are using within Azure and on-prem.
The Azure backup working seamlessly with Azure Site Recovery to minimize the impact on disaster happened. We can minimize the downtime from full disaster recovery alongside backup.
The application-consistent backup is the best feature. It ensure that backup are application-consistent, not just file-consistent. When you restore system, it's restored to a usable status without any corrupted databases or incomplete transactions in applications. It's useful for SQL Server or any production applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike. If there is one, the pricing could be much simpler. The pricing is based on storage tiers, retention policies and outbound data transfer cost. You need to understand how it charges if you just start using it. But after 1-2 months, you will understand how it works. Optimizing to get the balance of the cost and backup could be easily done too. So you don't need to worry too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gave us the best solution to backup the resources in Azure. There is not alternative to backup some resources if you choose other backup solutions. Manage and restore is also easy. Some times, it just need a single or a few click. Customer an also get the billing for backup in the single Azure bill, rather than a separate vendor. The combination of Azure backup and Azure resources make the total cost much less than using other backup solutions.

I appreciate Azure Backup's reliability in safeguarding my data. It provides peace of mind knowing my information is securely backed up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes find the interface a bit complex, and setting up certain configurations can be a bit challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Azure Backup solves data loss problems by providing a reliable and secure way to back up and restore data in the cloud. This benefits our users by ensuring their data is protected from accidents, disasters, and cyber threats, protecting valuable information and maintaining business continuity.

No way to manage costs
There is no way to manage costs for Azure Backup. Everything goes in a black hole and you can't tell what portion of the overall cost is being used by each backed up resource. When your manager says why are we spending $$$ on backup, or what does it cost to backup system x, you can't do anything but stand there and look stupid.
I consider myself a pretty forgetful person and this application has definitely saved my life several times, from saving files, macros, analysis, to saving files that I have been looking for for a long time.
On a day to day basis it is very easy to implement, the interface is easy to use and it has several security tools that are quite useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback I had with the platform was the time to create backups, since the logistics area uses quite large databases, the loading time of these was a bit long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage in a single platform the creation of backup copies and generate a unification of the information in such a way that it can be reviewed from different areas.
Have using this service and the option to backup on-premises data is very useful along with ramsworware protection.Have also use to backup PostgreSQL DB.The process is simple and easy to configure and scaling up.Also Multiple storage options work well for high availability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price is little costly and apart from it intergration with third party tools need to improve.Rest all the things are good.

The intergartion with other microsoft services help us to design and deploy the code.

I used it for backups of Azure Virtual servers. Whenever something went wrong with my server, I could easily recover from Azure backups. Azure backup has saved my data from getting lost.
1) The restore from the backup can be done easily.
2) It is easy to set up on any client machine.
3) It is easily configured and set up not very complex.
4) It provides high retention of data.
5) Users can provide customization as per their data needs.

1) The compatibility with other tools is limited.
2) The reports and metrics need improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Back up Azure workloads and data and recover it from the Microsoft Azure cloud.
Azure backup is easy to configure and use. The user interface is intuitive and straightforward, enabling users to easily configure backup policies and schedules.
Azure backup is cost effective, you only pay for storage utilized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited retention period of 99 years, apart from this the solution is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seamless backup of azure servers protrcting virtual machines and SQL databases. Provides long term retention of data. It is also used for disaster recovery purposes.
