SharePoint has best-in-class document storage and sharing capabilities. But if you want to collect files and documents without logging in or compromising security, there's still room for improvement:
The portal requires extra configuration to share a folder with someone and send him/her a link.
Users have to create a Microsoft account, verify it, and sign in every time to upload files.
Anyone with a link to a shared folder can see its contents.
It doesn’t allow for branding the user interface (UI) where files are uploaded.

No sign-in is required to upload files. Folder owners create links and send them to whoever they want.
A user with an upload link sees only the files he/she has just uploaded. One link can be shared with many users.
