Earth-i SAVANT

SAVANT Copper and SAVANT Nickel are bundled into this Earth-i SAVANT add-in. They are innovative products that deliver timely and accurate data, covering the activity of 88% of global copper smelting capacity and 90% of global nickel smelting capacity.

Data is collected and analysed using advanced algorithms derived from Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques. The data is taken from several different Earth Observation satellites and our global and regional indices are updated daily to give consistent, insightful and dependable results. Two types of indices are provided:

• Activity dispersion indices to show smelter activity levels
• Inactive capacity indices to detect periods of shutdown or inactivity

Global indices are provided, which cover all smelters, along with many regional and country-specific indices.

The Earth-i SAVANT add-in allows the data to be downloaded directly into an Excel spreadsheet using a simple interface that allows the user to select type of metal, name of index (e.g., Global or China) and the period required.

To use the Add-In, a user needs to have signed up for the SAVANT service at savant.earthi.world/signUp. To access global indices with a two-week delay, the service is provided free for three months. To additionally access the regional and country indices and to have the most up-to-date data, the user needs to purchase the SAVANT Business license.

No other licenses or purchases are required.
