MSCI Real Capital Analytics Add-In for Excel

Welcome to MSCI’s Real Capital Analytics Trend Tracker Add-In for Excel. This add-in allows clients to seamlessly fetch RCA trend data from inside an Excel workbook. The data can then be incorporated into any type of report or analysis embedded in Excel, including charting. Easily save the data you are viewing and refresh the data directly in your spreadsheets, which update in real time

Geography – Choose from all of the same geography selections that you access in Trend Tracker, such as EMEA, Africa, APAC, or the Americas; as well as country, state, city, or metro/market specific trends.

Property Type – Choose between core and alternative RCA property types, such as Office, Retail, Industrial, Apartment, Hotels, Seniors Housing & Care, and/or Development Sites.

Data Type – What type of results would you like calculated? Select from Transaction Volume trends (Volume, YoY Change, Number of Properties, Total SF), or Pricing trends (Price/SF, Cap Rate, Top Quartile Cap Rate.

Rolling/Non-Rolling – Your results can be calculated based on the calendar basis (Non-Rolling) or on a Rolling basis, which uses the most recent quarter end as the end point.

Users can multi-select on the dimensions of the search: Geography, Property type or Data Type. There is no limit to the number of items you can select in each category. For example, you can fetch the volume for all the property types in Atlanta. Let’s discuss this
