This app is an extension of the platform built and supported by Shaka (joinshaka.com). Shaka's purpose is to build connection, community and wellbeing amongst your employees. Shaka provides companies with the tool to build communities, launch team based challenges, schedule 20-minute coffee chats with coworkers, and improve employee wellbeing with Shaka curated wellness content.
The Shaka Culture app in Microsoft Teams makes it even easier for companies to keep employees engaged by sending reminders, surveys, and allowing users to take actions pertaining to challenges and wellness content. This wellness content includes fitness videos you can watch on Youtube and user-submitted songs that you will be redirected to Spotify to listen to. Users will receive reminders for their company's team based challenges and connections, as well as Shaka curated wellness content. Companies can gather employee feedback through simple surveys sent to users through the app. Employees can also engage in fun chatter sparked by Shaka's conversation starters. The Shaka Culture app in Teams also makes organization-wide registration for Shaka easier, enabling you to launch impactful people programs in minutes!
