In today's fast paced societies - This was much too difficult to install and use - I did not use it - I used bit.ly

I want to retract my previous post. Once I was able to get hold of the company, they shared the situation with me. The problem was resolved within the day and their tech support was helpful in keeping me informed. I apologize for using the review to get your attention but I wasn't finding any other way at the time.

Some of the SharePoint add-on’s are really useful, and SharePoint ShortUrl is no exception - and the really good news is there is a free version! Once installed this app creates the ability to not only shorten massive ugly looking url’s but, gives you the option to customise how the shortened version appears (with the paid version). This fabulous little app gives a much more professional look. Your url can retain meaning at a glance, feature your domain name, expire after a certain time, require a password to log in, generate QR codes and so much more! It also has free monitoring included so you can see exactly how many people have been tempted to click on the link, which is an awesome tool to see how engaging your content really is! Highly recommended.

Thanks Cirrus Soft, SharePoint ShortUrl App is an awesome app. The install is very straight forward - giving it's clear and concise install instructions. With the ultimate plan, we've also manage to attach a more user friendly, easy to remember domain name to our O365 tenancy. I've shown it to users and they love it because it is easy to use.
