FHIR Jumpstart

3Cloud’s FHIR Jumpstart is intended to help customers who are exploring Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare services and are looking to conduct an MVP-style deployment to support interoperability and innovation in Microsoft Azure.

This engagement will provide the necessary infrastructure, enablement and knowledge transfer to enable a multitude of future use-cases. These include regulatory compliance for data exchange, SMART App Development, and Advanced Analytics.

Engagement Details:

• Select Data Sets for Ingestion
  During the engagement we will provide 80 hours of development support to seed the FHIR service with customer data. Customer can choose the data domains (Patient, Provider, Encounter) and ingest method of Batch or Real Time.

• Deploy the Azure Healthcare API Service
  Leveraging 3Cloud’s Infrastructure as Code FHIR codebase, we will deploy the core FHIR service using customer naming conventions and tagging.

• Deploy FHIR Proxy & Bulk Load/Export Service
  Leveraging 3Cloud’s Infrastructure as Code FHIR codebase, we will deploy supporting FHIR services using customer naming conventions and tagging.

• Deploy Azure Synapse & Configure Export Service
  3Cloud will deploy an Azure Synapse Instance and configure a base Pipeline to seed Synapse tables with data from the FHIR Service.

• API Testing and Validation
  3Cloud will provide training on how to connect to the Azure Healthcare APIs via the FHIR proxy using tools such as Postman.
