The Page Tour web part welcomes users and site visitors to your SharePoint intranet through an interactive guide. Easily highlight new content and quickly onboard new employees through a step-by-step tour of selected features.
Once the Page Tour web part is added, content owners can
configure and create tours via the web part properties. Page Tour will automatically recognize new visitors, but users can dismiss the tour if necessary.
Page Tour offers you the following features:
- Integrated - Integrate Page Tour into your SharePoint page with the option to highlight web parts, SharePoint elements, and add a welcome message to the tour.
- Onboarding - Page Tour automatically recognizes new visitors to your SharePoint site and greets them with a guided tour to get them started with their onboarding journey.
- Dismissible - Once the tour is completed or dismissed by a user, the tour won't pop up again until prompted by content owners.
- Viva Connections ready - Like all Accelerator apps, Page Tour is compatible with Viva Connections. Part of Microsoft’s Viva Employee Experience platform, Viva Connections brings your intranet home page and content into Teams.
- Responsive - Page Tour is optimally designed for any and all devices, whether your users are accessing SharePoint on desktop browsers or mobile devices.
- Easy to manage - Add and remove tour steps when content on the page is adjusted. Drag and drop steps to reorder the tour at any point. Quickly edit highlighted descriptions to reflect new content.
