The SWOOP Analytics for SharePoint JS Tracker (JS Tracker) is a SharePoint application that the customer installs and configures on their SharePoint instance. It is a component in the SWOOP Analytics for SharePoint solution.
SWOOP Analytics for SharePoint will provide information about user activity, page health, breakdown of pages and more to Internal Communication teams so they can understand and improve the engagement on corporate communications.
This application will drop 2 scripts tags into each page and will load a javascript script (and JSON config) which will enable SWOOP to collect information about their movement through the SharePoint pages.
This package contains a lightweight JavaScript extension (Application Customizer) that is configured to appear only on the sites you want to monitor, and it will gather analytics about the users' activity on the site and submit the analytics data to SWOOP Analytics for SharePoint for analysis. The data is mainly IDs and analytical data with no sensitive user data.
