EconData

The EconData Add-In ties various sources of South African public domain data together into a single application that allows the user to download and transform the data in Excel. Once the data is downloaded it can easily be refreshed as new releases become available. This allows the users of EconData to seamlessly integrate up-to-date South African economic data into their Excel workflows. The add-in also provides convenient transformations of the data such as: aggregation to lower frequencies, and the calculation of growth rates. EconData is intended for anybody with an interest in researching or otherwise analysing the South African economy.
