A UX Designer’s Go-To Tool for Prototyping and Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?Figma makes it incredibly easy to prototype user flows and UI screens, whether starting with low-fidelity wireframes or progressing to high-fidelity designs. Its intuitive interface allows quick setup of design systems and seamless use of reusable components. The prototyping mode is particularly helpful for building clickable demos that are great for stakeholder presentations. Dev Mode is a valuable addition that streamlines collaboration with developers by making specs, assets, and dimensions easily accessible. I also appreciate the real-time collaboration features — comments, annotations, and notes — which help keep cross-functional teams aligned. What do you dislike about the product? The recent pricing changes, especially the separate licensing requirement for Dev Mode, have made it more expensive to onboard developers just to access specs. Also, the folder and project organization within Figma could be more structured and intuitive — it can become cluttered quickly in larger teams. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Figma solves the challenge of designing, prototyping, and collaborating on user interfaces all in one platform. It eliminates the need for multiple tools by combining design, prototyping, and developer handoff features in a single space. This has significantly improved our design workflow — enabling faster iteration, real-time feedback from stakeholders, and seamless collaboration with developers. It also helps create and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products. Overall, Figma has made the entire design-to-development process more efficient and transparent.
Collaborative UI/UX design made seamless with Figma
What do you like best about the product?Figma’s real-time collaboration is a game-changer — being able to co-design with team members, developers, or clients in a shared environment removes versioning chaos and accelerates feedback loops. Its intuitive UI, component system, and robust plugin ecosystem make it ideal for designing responsive web apps. What do you dislike about the product? While Figma is incredibly powerful, performance can lag with larger files or complex design systems. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Figma has eliminated the friction in cross-functional collaboration between design and development teams. With its browser-based platform and real-time co-editing, our team no longer needs to juggle design file versions or rely on external tools for feedback. It has streamlined the entire UI/UX workflow — from wireframing to prototyping — and enabled faster design iterations with immediate stakeholder input.
Top Design tool in the market
What do you like best about the product? What I find particularly great about Figma is its collaborative nature. The ability for multiple people to work on the same design file simultaneously, in real-time, is a game-changer. It really streamlines the design process, making feedback loops faster and team communication so much smoother. Plus, the fact that it's entirely browser-based means no more fumbling with file versions or worrying about operating system compatibility. It just works for everyone. What do you dislike about the product? On the flip side, if I had to pick something I dislike, it would probably be its reliance on a stable internet connection. Since it's a web application, if your internet goes down, so does your access to your work. This can be a bit frustrating, especially if you're in an area with unreliable connectivity. While they do offer some offline capabilities, the core experience is definitely tied to being online. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Figma tackles the challenges of disjointed design workflows by offering a cloud-based platform that fosters real-time collaboration, streamlines the design-to-development handoff with accessible specifications, promotes design system consistency through shared libraries, removes platform limitations with its browser-based accessibility, and integrates prototyping directly within the design environment. This benefits me by facilitating clearer communication, accelerating project iterations, ensuring more consistent and higher-quality products, enabling more efficient information gathering, and improving overall collaboration across various teams involved in the product development lifecycle.
A powerful and intuitive tool with some room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?I love how intuitive and accessible Figma is. Its simplicity allows me to focus on designing without feeling overwhelmed, and real-time collaboration makes teamwork incredibly efficient. The active community also provides valuable resources and support for UX/UI designers. What do you dislike about the product? The abrupt UI change was frustrating and made it harder to find familiar tools. Even after months of use, I sometimes still struggle to locate certain features. Although Figma allowed users to temporarily revert to the old UI, the transition could have been handled more smoothly. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Figma makes collaboration so much easier by allowing designers and developers to work together in real time. Thanks to features like Dev Mode and Variables, managing complex projects feels much more organized and efficient. Even though adapting to the new UI was a challenge at first, the improvements in workflow and handoff have definitely made my day-to-day work faster and less stressful. It helps me stay focused on creating better designs without getting lost in technical hurdles.
Easy, Fast & Great for Teamwork
What do you like best about the product? It’s super easy to use and works right in the browser—no need to install anything. I love how I can design with my team in real-time. It has all the features I need, and I use it almost every day. Integrating it with other tools like Slack or JIRA is also simple. What do you dislike about the product? It can lag a bit with big files. Also, offline use is limited. More instant support would be helpful sometimes. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Figma makes design work easier with real-time collaboration, auto layout, and powerful features all in one place. It saves time, avoids version issues, and works great for remote teams.
Figma is easy and game changer
What do you like best about the product?I strongly encourage all product teams to utilize it, as it ensures alignment across stakeholders and simplifies the implementation of prototype interactions. What do you dislike about the product? The file memory limit can be a bit annoying at times. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Being able to design and prototype simultaneously has been a game changer for me.
Figma Review: A Game changer for modern UI/UX design
What do you like best about the product?the thing i like best about Figma is honestly how effortless collaboration feels. it is the one design tool where yu dont have to keep exporting files or worrying about version control- everything just happens in rwal time. you can literally have your designer, developer and product manager all looking at(and even editing) the same file at the same time, and it actually works smoothly. What do you dislike about the product?this is coming from someone who really likes the tool- is that it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming espcially for new users. There is a bit of leraning curve with things like auto layout, component variants. once you get the hang of it, its amazing, but at the start, it can be confusing. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?it is solving the problem of collaboration chaos. before figma, sharing desgin files usually meant passing around huge files, dealing with version mismatches or using clunky tools to leave feedback. it is design-to-dev handoff. so no more back and forth explaining padding or font sizes. we developers can inspect elements directly from figma and get all the specs they need. this saves time and reduces miscommunication.
Amazing for all levels of designers
What do you like best about the product?I love how intuitive it is to use, how they offer various levels for different users, and all of the resources they provide for self learning and upskilling. What do you dislike about the product? There are some limitations in design options, but they’re always listening to feedback and rolling out new features based on that. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Helps me design screens, create prototypes and easily work with developers on designs.
