Redox Databricks QuickStart
por Redox, Inc.
Redox powers real-time multi-modal data streams (e.g., HL7, XML, API, C-CDA, DICOM, etc.) into FHIR
Data Warehousing and GenAI are dependent on a HLS customer’s ability to consume real-time data from source systems; Redox unlocks these data quickly and cost effectively for both:
Warehousing: Databricks’ dbignite is designed to transform FHIR bundles (sourcing from Redox) and make ready for SQL analytics
GenAI: Clinical notes (sourcing from Redox) are one of the most important data sources for LLMs in healthcare (summarization for processes like prior authorization)
The average Redox implementation timeline is 80% faster than a DIY or SI-driven implementation.
Redox also offers a consumption-only pricing plan, so only pay for what you use.
Specifically, Redox translates and normalizes multi-modal data (e.g., HL7, XML, API, C-CDA, DICOM, etc.) from disparate sources (e.g., EHR, payer, HIE, digital health vendors, etc.) into a consistent format (FHIR or JSON), making it easy for customers to get data into Databricks from siloed legacy systems. This unlocks new use cases, including GenAI workflows.
- Connectivity to the EHR, e.g. VPN, webhook, etc.
- Maintenance and monitoring of the EHR interfaces
- Mapping from local EHR-native formats (e.g. HL7, XML, X12, SFTP, etc.) into FHIR.
- Retrieving FHIR payloads from your Azure environment and formatting the message back into a legacy standard supported by the EHR.
