How it works
LawVu users can raise legal requests inside Microsoft Teams. The app captures all relevant
fields, including content and attachments from the original Microsoft Teams message, and creates a
matter in LawVu so it's part of Legal's system of record.
Key details of a matter
created in Microsoft Teams are visible to all channel members, providing transparency and audit
trails anytime.

Retrieve details about a matter or contract into an Outlook email or a
Microsoft Teams message using our search-based message extension
Query records in your legal workspace using natural language
interaction and Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365

- Fetch matters related to 'NDA'
- Fetch matters currently with the status 'On Hold'
- Fetch contracts in the 'Draft' status
- Fetch contracts created since 'June 2, 2023'
Requirements
- A subscription to LawVu is required. If you don't have an account, visit

Known limitations
File attachments on a message may be included in the new matter,
however Media files (such as inline images) are not currently
supported.
